Marco in Amdo

Hello girls! I bet you think I had forgotten about you, or dropped off the edge of the world! Aunt Kristel and I have been travelling together for 6 weeks, and it was amazing!
We visited lots of her old friends, and went to some really interesting places. We took many photos, so you can see what it was like. It was really really cold, with lots of snow, because Tibet is high in the mountains.
I saw yaks and herds of sheep and goats, made friends with a Tibetan dog called Pasang (which means “Friday” in Tibetan) and looked at some beautiful paintings in temples. I also got to spin some prayer wheels with Aunt Kristel and her friends. Can you see the prayer wheel in the picture? The prayer wheels are filled with printed prayers, and the Tibetans believe when you spin the wheel, the prayer travels through the world. It is the same with the colourful prayer flags, you can see in another picture.
Well, Aunt Kristel wrote a really long story about our travels, so I will keep this short. I hope you like the photos!
